Dunes Inn & Suites, Tybee Island

Our room had been remodeled and came with a kitchenette, fully equipped. Cozy and clean. Within walking distance to several restaurants, shops and the beach. Easily acceptable for an early morning beach walk to watch the sunrise.

Bright & pretty, enjoyed!

This was in a great location. You can walk to the beach , Pier , restaurants , shopping and nightlife. Free parking. The parking meters at $25.00 for 8 hours or a $75.00 ticket. The rooms look to have been recently remodeled the staff was some of the friendliest I have ever dealt with. You could tell they were genuinely polite other than some of the classier hotels were they are paid to be polite. We have already have plans for summer and staying at the same location

Room was musty lots of mildew beef was awful pictures are deceiving!!! No phone when arrived to room bed clothes were damp from moisture in room as well smell was horrible!

Older room. Door was weak. Tv funtional. Bathroom clean ,but tight. Drain was slow in bathtub. Reasonable price, Reasonably tidy.

I’ve stayed at the Dunes in previously and loved it. It was clean, and I felt safe while my daughter and I were there. I was not aware at booking that I was staying in the “annex” part. The bathroom was covered in mildew and mold from where there was no fan to remove excess moisture. On our first night there, there was a 3” long roach in the bathroom. Also on our first night, I had to park on the complete opposite side from where my room was due to parking being completely full on the property. There was an inch crack under the door to the outside.

It's an old building, but nicely renovated. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Beds comfy but hate that no real cover is provided so bring your own, kitchenette was basic but enough for sure. Pool needs cleaning but water still felt great, shower was perfect ...plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Other guest were ...ehhhh...but thats not the hotels fault at all.

They first put us in room 140. The room was a filthy dump. We complained, and for an additional $20 they moved us to the front of the building into a "better" room (#202). It was clean, but nothing special. We won't choose this hotel again.

If I could give this place negative stars I would!! I booked this motel knowing it wasn’t 5 stars but was just traveling through town w/ a friend and didn’t want to spend a ton of money. I read the reviews and hoped for an updated room! The first room we got was something out of a horror movie, so my friend and I went back to the desk and asked for updated room. The clerk said it would be $10 upgrade so we paid it! That was annoying but ok. We then went to updated room, which looked doable, we dropped our stuff and went to dinner. At 10:30 we had returned and while getting in bed my friend found a two blood spots the size of a dime on her pillow, THEN we noticed another pillow on her bed ALSO had blood on it!!! The clerk brought up two new pillows but didn’t offer any other resolution. Suffice to say my friend slept with me that night bc we just assumed her bed had NOT been changed at all. It was also too late to figure out a diff hotel. The following day hotels.com reached out to the manager and they would only issue me a $30 credit for the $110 room. PLUS they said that they had upgraded us for free! I was really pissed so I called the hotel myself, the woman was unapologetic and said that’s all they would give. I asked to speak to the owner and she took my number but said “it’s Friday, I don’t know if he will call you back”.. HE NEVER called me back and it’s been a week! This motel is SOOO DISGUSTING!! BEWARE They DO NOT CHANGE THE SHEETS!! DONT STAY HERE!! One word COVID
