The property is close to all sights, shopping and great restaurants. The breakfast had a great variety, and delicious. The manager Ismael is very helpful and informative. The rooms are very clean. If only they had more lighting in the room and bathroom. The lamps are hideous, my daughter got hurt with the ornate lamps while trying to plug in.

Pros: fantastic location in the beautiful old town, clean room, good AC, good breakfast. Cons: The biggest con which unfortunately impacted my stay was the hard sales pitch approach from the front desk staff. It’s clear that they get some form of commission for activities they book as the gentleman who was there in the evening would only suggest activities to do in Istanbul that - coincidentally - I had to book through him, in cash (at quite a high price, may I add). For example, no mention of low-cost cruises on the Bosphorus (I found some that were 15 tl instead of the 35 euro one they said was my only option for a 90-minute tour). The final straw was airport transportation - I finally gave in and agreed to go with their airport transfer but regretted it of course as it ended up costing more and being more inconvenient (25 minutes late) than getting a private taxi. If you don’t mind constantly getting sales pitches then it’s a fine choice; however, I think there are better hotels to stay at nearby that don’t do this.

Beautiful rooms and very nice employees! Front desk guys are extremely useful, can help with just about anything, from ordering shuttle service to and from airport to helping you order food from Turkish websites in the middle of the night, when restaurant and room service are not available. Also, breakfast was delicious and terrace view absolutely beautiful. Will recommend this hotel to family and friends! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

GREAT STAFF AND LOCATION!
Phenomenal hotel!!!! Beautiful place, beautiful room, and exceptional staff. Iham at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful--he provided excellent recommendations and it was such a pleasure speaking with him. The hotel even surprised us with "Happy Birthday" decorations for me!! The buffet breakfast was delicious and they even gave me plenty of extra olives (my favorite)! The location was perfect, it was a priority for me to feel that I would be safe walking to major locations and yummy food--and this is a WINNER for that! Easy walk to the cisterns, the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, and the waterside. We even walked to the Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, and Karakoy. Also, be sure to eat the greatest Testi Kebab of your life at Turgut (only a few steps away from the hotel and incredibly fun staff, owned by a young man who makes you feel like part of his family).
