Hotel Marcantonio Rome, Rome

Internet wasn't too good or reliable. Double room we had was a bit tight and needed a decor upgrade compared to the pictures we saw when we booked. Breakfast was served in room and it was punctual. All else was good.

Great service, nice staff. Rooms and bathroom very tiny. Shower 2x2. Had to squeeze sideways to close bathroom door. Breakfast little more than a croissant. Small kids juice box for OJ.

Very nice hotel. close to Termini and HoHo bus. will stay again at this hotel if available.

Great staff and attention, excellent location. They were very helpful in guiding to attractions around the city. The water temperature of the shower was very inconsistent.

Good basic hotel, but breakfast could be better

Staff is very nice. Location 2 minutes from main train station Termini. Bathroom (shower) too small. During our stay the floor was not cleaned properly especially under beds. I think even before our arrival they did not cleaned under the beds. We tried to do not let our kid play on the floor and go under the beds. Beds sheet during our days staying in the hotel were not changed. Some furniture need fixing or change. The fridge in room was not cold enough.

The staff here was extremely helpful, kind, and patient. I could not figure out how to unlock the door and felt quite stupid but a man at the desk gracefully helped me figure it out. It was pretty warm in Rome and I loved that the windows in the room I had were so large for airflow. I had a single room for one person that had very good storage, a mini-fridge and good lighting. The elevator was nice and rare. It was an affordable place to stay while going out and exploring. The neighborhood is great for public transit and had nice late night pizza options around.

We stayed here on our last night in Italy so we had an easy walk to catch the train to the airport. That was very convenient. You can buy the FCO train ticket at the magazine/gift shop nearby the platform. However, be aware when you arrive that you are *not* looking for a building as your hotel. It appears to be a couple of floors in a building, with the other floors belonging to hotels of different names. Look for signage on the wall of the building by the door (on the R side of the street as you walk away from the Termini). The room was small but adequate, although the step up to the bathroom was a little awkward. There appeared to only be 1 person on staff but he was very helpful. You have the transportation square very nearby so there are lots of restaurants that are open late. If you are staying longer term you would have easy access to trains and busses to most anywhere you might want to go.
