    Basic but clean

A solid, clean choice for a stay predominantly focused on seeing Petra. We chose this hotel for its close proximity to the main gate.

Best location and very close to Petra entrance. Staff are very nice. Facility is a bit dated especially the bathroom but well maintained. Breakfast is good. Best value for money.

The location is the major point of this hotel. Petra's entrance is about 5 minutes walking. The quality of the facility is just OK. Decent breakfast and staff is helpful and amicable.

The best part of the property is that’s it’s 5 mins walk to Petra entrance and nearby restaurants. This is a 3 star hotel and its in need of renovation. There was a damp smell to the room. The walls are thin and could hear the dogs barking outsideOK why don’t you just hang up on me and I’ll say anything, as well as the passing guests in the hallway. I am a light sleeper and was woken up early by the nearby mosque both days I stayed. The breakfast was decent and I enjoyed the rooftop terrace for a great sunset view. be aware they have the thermostat set to a temperature and if you adjust it, it shuts off and will need the front desk to reset it. Wifi was ok. Slow at night but that’s typical since everyone in the hotel is back from their tours and using it.

Very accommodating staff, free wifi, nice buffet breakfast and dinner if you choose, 5 min walk to the entry to Petra and main street with shops and restaurants. Only issue was the bathroom was so small it could only fit one at a time and then you had to close the door to get behind it to use the vanity.

Good location for Petra, you can walk to the entrance. Internet works well. The power went off a few times when we were staying there which also made the hot water not work one day

We booked this place at 47 gbp incl breakfast and wifi, taking into account its great location to Petra, it's a bargain. Yet, hotel staff leaves a lot of room for improvement: poor command of English (for this tourist hotspot a must), knocking on all doors in the morning "when are you checking out?" in order for them to optimize their cleaning round, poor waitering in the restaurant (at breakfast pooring hot milk in the jug for cold milk) etc... Soundproofing was not on the list of requirements for building this place. Busses running their engines and especially staff or other guests in the corridors... it all sounds as if it was happening next to your bed. Priceseekers beware: you get what you pay for!
