4/10 Fair

Dishonest, poor service, bad room
I would not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to any travelers. The room was ill maintained and the floors were not clean. The amenities were terrible. No robe or slippers, no complimentary bottle of water (how much could a plastic water cost them?) bad coffee and Ieft something of value in the room. When I returned home I called several times to see if it could be sent to me. No one answered their phones. I left messages and did not get a call back. Finally a week later someone called and said my item was not found in the room. That confirmed that it had been stolen by whoever cleaned the room. I was told someone would “get to the bottom of it and let me know.” No one ever called or emailed me to “let me know” anything. I checked out on 11/25/22. As of 12/3 I still have not heard back. Their service is so bad they can’t even answer their phones or keep an honest cleaning staff. Do not trust this place.

8/10 Very good

Decent stay overall.
The customer service was very friendly all people working the desk were positive and kind. Our room was comfortable and on the 19th floor there was no street noise. The linens were clean the beds were comfortable. There were water bottle stations in the hallway for guest convenience. The wall paper was peeling a bit, there were dirty looking spots on the walls and ceiling. Trash cans were small and did not have liners and were not clean. On more than one occasion housekeeping had blocked the narrow hallway with trash bags and supplies making it difficult to exit room with bags. Location was great views were often.

2/10 Poor

NOT a 4-star hotel; 2.5 at best.
This is NOT a 4-star hotel. It is a 2.5 at best. Very dirty, very outdated, and a very uncomfortable place to stay in. The only benefit is its location.

2/10 Poor

Terrible check in and out.
The hotel room and location was good however the check in staff were inefficient and appeared to be unwilling to make any effort to accommodate Even at check out I had to wait a very long time to get the luggage I had in their holding area. The lines for check in were out the door and many customers were waiting a long time to get bags from storage.

6/10 Good

Staff & area are great; don’t waste $ on upgrade
The hotel is in a great location, has a beautiful sun deck on the 20th floor and is in my favorite neighborhood. There’s a chance I’d stay here again but in the cheapest room. I wouldn’t recommend any “fancier” rooms. I splurged and upgraded to a terrace room but it was a total letdown. I didn’t realize there were so few terrace rooms when I booked which means the chances of getting a mediocre to subpar view is v likely. While I understand that hotels have wear and tear when spending $400/night, I expect more. A few of these things are fine, but all of these things for this price is unacceptable. Issues with my room alone: - 1 of 2 terrace chairs were broken - large stain on the couch - scuffs on walls, holes in plaster, paint peeling - bathroom ceiling panels bowed therefore rattled when heat/AC kicked on - part of the privacy film on the bathroom door was cut out - no safe in the room - multiple buttons (including sleep) didn’t work on tv remote - no clock in the room - check in was at 3p. When I got there around 415p, my room wasn’t ready and had to be “double checked.” - when I texted to see if another terrace room was avail, I was told not likely but someone would get back to me the next day. No one ever got back to me Pros: - front desk staff was very nice - sun deck is STUNNING - absolutely wonderful location - multiple restaurants close by including the roof w great views & one downstairs - filtered water in hallways (albeit it painfully slow)

6/10 Good

Although we did not purchase an 'accessible room', we received one. At this particular hotel, that pretty much precludes taking a shower standing up. Also, a couple of lightbulbs were out. Pretty poor upkeep, decent location though.
