The hotel room was very old and dirty. There were crumbs on the desk when we got into room and floor was not vacuumed. Coffee cup had stains. Mold in bathroom shower.

Adequate for a family of four but not ideal.

Very convenient to all locations, a short walk to the cathedral and you can catch the tour bus to Stonehenge just a few steps away. The restaurant was very good with a varied menu and very reasonable prices; staff was excellent. There was a lovely little patio/courtyard in back where you could have morning coffee or eat if you wished. Be aware if you are there on a Friday or Saturday night it can be very noisy but with ear plus we had no trouble sleeping. Also, wifi ca be somewhat erratic. Overall, we would stay here again for sure and would not hesitate to recommend it.

The room was fine, but as is the case with many other British hotels, the carpet was old and dirty (they should all just convert to laminate flooring and make everyone happier...). Friendly staff and prompt service. Conveniently located on the High Street near the Salisbury Cathedral. Parking is offsite and extra, but there's a loading zone in front. Breakfast included in rate. Pub food downstairs is decent.

I just needed a placed to stay for the night which was convenient for a friend to pick me up en route from Heathrow. The hotel was fine for that; clean enough and with everything you would expect for the price. The room (209) seemed quite hot, but I wasn't there long enough for it to be a bother.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice clean room with a comfort bed. Good choice of breakfast offered. Close to the cathedral and city centre shops. Had no issues with noise from the bar downstairs. Friendly staff with fast and effective check in/out. Secured parking is close by and is free if parking after 3pm and leaving before 8am the next day. Will consider this hotel again if in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at the Cathedral Hotel for many reasons. The breakfast was incredible... they are well situated. You have keep in mind that you will have to pay for a parking in that area. Sometimes it takes time to open your room door because the lock is a bit strange and old... you can take it as an extra charm to the room.

Tony gave us a very warm and information packed welcome as soon as we walked in the door to this intriguing hotel. The location can't be beat. Steps from the market square and the Stonehenge tour bus pickup spot, a short walk to the Cathedral. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Not overly spacious but about what you expect in old hotels. The full breakfasts were excellent, but service was sketchy. I'd definitely recommend.

We had a comfortable evening's stay on our way from London to Stonehenge. Parking was close by and convenient and hotel, while old, was nice. Lift is small but at least there was a lift. Restaurant was loud but fun and food was very good.
