Decent breakfast, and close to metro and downtown. However, the furniture is worn out furniture, and you can hear the metro below.

Do not stay here! Filthy and uncomfortable!
I had low ecpectations since the place is rated a 2 star. But even still, this is the most disgusting hotel i have ever stayed in. When i arrived, the pillow and blanket were dirty. When i asked for a new blanket, they just gave me another dirty blanket. The place smells disgusting and i was freezing cold my entire stay because the window was broken and heating is centrally controlled. I understand travelling to london can be expensive, and a room is just to sleep in. But it is simply not worth the savings when you have to return to a room that makes your skin crawl! This place is filthy and a major rip off for what they are charging! When i arrived, there was a mysterious brown splatter on the wall that was never cleaned over my 4 night stay there. This is the most disgusting place i have ever stayed in my life!!

Like this one.
I like this one. 4 town houses knocked into one. On a green square very close to Paddington station. Stairs and corridors, no lift. Minimal breakfast.

They really should alert you to the fact that your room will be very noisy if it is. I was in desperate need of a decent night's sleep and that was not possible past about 6:30am.

The room was small but comfortable and warm. The bed looked quite old. It would have been great if there was some way to heat food at the hotel either in the roo

Would Stay Again
The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. The inclusive continental breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. It was also very conveniently located near Paddington Station.

The bathroom was tiny if you get out the shower you hit yourself on the sink. The bed heads were so lose when you sat on the bed the bed heaf hit the wall. This was reported and sorted out immediately. The two very disappointing things were no lift so trying to get up 4 flights of narrow stairs with heavy bags was not fun and the breakfast advertised as continental but instead of croissants and pastries there was swiss roll and shortbread biscuits there was a choice of tice crispy or cornflakes and the only fruit on offer was bananas
