It was good value for money. Cleaning is good and the hotel has tried to keep a sharp style. This is not, though, a 4 star property but like a 3stat . Staff is really friendly and helpful. If you are driving, parking may be an issue as it requires some walking and learning how to use the garage. Location is good otherwise as it is walking distance Catania's historic centre.

The only good thing about this property was it’s staff. They were so sweet and helpful with everything. However this hotel should never have been ranked. 4star. It is a max 2 star at the best. The. Building is odd and run down. It’s next to a burned down area which looks like the other half of the building. At night the streets were busy and noisy. People were yelling until 3-4 am. I did not sleep at all. It was not a pleasant stay at all. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was very helpful, especially Martina at the front desk and the incredibly congenial bartender. The room, however, was the noisiest we’ve ever stayed in - just off the lobby - and it’s unfair to charge guests about 200€ to stay in it. Plus the lights didn’t work properly, there were no reading lamps at the bedside, no English TV stations such as BBC or CNN - all very basic and tired. When we left early for the airport there were what appeared to be prostitutes within a block of the hotel.
