Perfectly clean, very friendly staff, fast processing at the desk, and ice makers on the floor. This is a perfect 10 hotel. I always leave a tip for housekeeping because these rooms and common areas are always spotless.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Great view overlooking the harbor. Wonderful location-across from the ferry terminal. If you take a day trip over the islands, you may park in the hotel parking lot for the day.I would definitely recommend the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott-New Bedford and hope to stay there soon.

I usually love this place and it’s usually our first choice stay whenever in the area.. only place we’ve stayed over the passed few years. Always great things to say. I have been staying there once a week for the past month due to keeping drs appts in the area after we moved to Maine. However the last couple times we stayed there’s been a change in something. Different vibe. I appreciate the accommodations during this pandemic, but as being repeat loyal customers, my whole family, even my father stays at Marriott all over the country on business twice a month for past 20 yrs. anyhow. As being as loyal customers as we are, and seeing as they’re not serving breakfast, the pools is closed, and there is maybe three cars in the parking lot. The hotel was almost empty, and we ran across some unexpected travel mishaps , my daughters dr appointment was extended to the next day as it was as potentially something serious. Thank god it wasn’t , but we had no choice to stay down a second night, totally unexpected and unplanned for. And after telling management about our predicament,-
