Very Good
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel not new but priced right. Continental breakfast was always stocked well with a clean kitchen. Pearl River is 1/2 hr drive from downtown New Orleans but that was OK for us as we had a rental car and planned to drive around Louisiana anyways. The prices for a motel will climb dramatically when you get closer to the French Quarter and airport. All and all a nice stay at the Inn.

Poor
Horrible experience!
I booked our hotel at microtel with hotels.com. we had a 6 hour drive.. i arrive at 8:30 PM to be told we didn't have a room 😡 i told her i had reservations and already paid. She says yes i know but we have no rooms i tried finding you another hotel but am unsuccessful. I'm really mad at this point and ask what am i supposed to do it's late i need a room. She acts like it's not her problem, so i ask for my money back, well of course she can't bc i paid through Hotels.com. we called over 10 hotels to find there are no vacancies in any decent hotel anywhere! We ended up having to stay in a 2 rating hotel! I will never book with Hotels.com nor with Microtel.

Fair
Hotel overbooked and disgusting. Nice manager.
I arrive and am told my reservation has not been held and they are booked except for some suites reserved. There was literally no other rooms in the entire city. The closest was 30 miles away. The person on duty felt terrible and blamed it on the third party apps like hotels.com for overbooking the site. I have no idea if that is true. But she worked and worked and found me a room. It was a double only with sleeper couch. The room also was a smoking room and smelled terrible. The mattress in the couch was so nasty, I just slept on the 4 foot couch with my legs hanging off. Will never stay here again and maybe never a Microtel. I really don’t know what i would have done if she hadn’t given me a room. Slept in my car?? We left as soon as we woke up and could get out of there.

Good
The air did not cool we reported it to the front desk she wrote it down on a notebook and said she would get maintenance but it was not xhecked so we was hot while sleeping. The maids only made our beds but had chocolate on the sheets but didn't change the sheets. So overall I would give them a 3

Not a good hotel
This is not a nice hotel! Our room has torn bedding, rusted door frames, holes in two walls. The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke.
