Great location for families and couples. Rooms were Ok but not modern, more traditional style. Needed more plug ins in the rooms for charging devices. Great pool and beach set up. I loved the grass roofed umbrellas and there were lots of them. You still have to be up early to get your chairs for the day as the best ones were taken by 7:00 am. Dining was very good at all 4 restaurants and the On beach lunch special was excellent. The cigar lounge was very nice and the evening events in the two lobby bars were fun.

My fiancé and I just stayed here for 8 nights in February 2023. This is a beautiful resort with so much potential. The food is great with a lot of options in the buffet. The restaurants are also great but the reservation process can be stressful. This resort is a great place with great staff. There are a couple of bad things though. The rooms are suuuuuper outdated. We only had 2 outlets we could use and neither were even close to the bed. They did provide an extension cord which was awesome but we shouldn’t need that in a resort of this price. Also the shows are lacking ALOT. The only good show was the fire show and the foam party that happens only on saturdays. Everything else was subpar and not entertaining at all. There is rarely music played by the pool which makes this resort more of a family/older crowd resort. If you like quiet with some fun this is perfect for you! If you are younger like we are and want fun throughout the whole day, this isn’t the resort for you. I would definitely recommend this resort to friends and family but you guys need to upgrade your rooms and get better entertainment. This place has so much potential!

Lack of wait staff around the beach and pool was disappointing. The inconveniences of how the drinks are made are incredibly frustrating. Same guy, 20 min later same drink made completely different. Otherwise very happy with everything else overall.

Iberostar Tucan was a great choice! We enjoyed our stay so much. Everything was perfect. Something more - a lot of animals as monkeys, peacock, coati and a lot of others in the resort area - especially our kids were happy because of it.
