Ideal central location, luxurious hotel
A top notch hotel, excellent service, and very comfortable rooms with ample amenities. We couldn't quite figure out the lights but the connected alarm clock had settings that helped. Note the bathroom is open to the rest of the room, with glass doors for the toilet and shower and a curtain, but anyone getting up to pee in the middle of the night will inevitably trigger the motion-detector triggered light and bither other guests. Other than that, excellent and this was our 2nd visit. Location is unbeatable, right across Taipei Main Station and above a nice mall with great food court.

Central location, great service
Having rated the place as topnotch, I'd like to complain about the shower mechanism in my room, likely in other rooms. First, the tub is a perfect round bowl, making entry/exist tricky even for able-bodied people. The faucet design is anti-human (no overstatement here). It took two visits by the service staff to teach me, an engineer, how to operate it. I would put bath/shower replacement as a top project when it's renovation time.

Great place to stay in Taipei.
The hotel is conveniently located north of Taipei Station, a major hub for MRT, High Speed Railroad (HSR), and bus stations with easy direct access to Taoyuan International Airport via the new MRT line from the Station. One can walk to the hotel from Taipei Station, with ample food court and shopping mall all over the place. The hotel offers great amenities, and the service is outstanding.

Good location but outdated products
The hotel was in good location (well connected with subways and a shopping mall) and friendly staff on ground floor. However, room was outdated (booked a Deluxe King) and with a musty smell when entered. Bedding was soft and pillow was *sinking* as flat as a sheet of paper. The in-room lounge chair cushion was in a terrible state and coffee table was small that could not accommodate a proper meal for two persons that we have to place our drinks on the floor.
