Palais de Chine Hotel, Taipei
Enjoyed the hotel very much
The hotel was located at the perfect location for me transportation wise. It was easy to get to all the destinations we wanted to go. It was also easy to come from and get to the airport. The staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Although the hotel is located at the busiest part of the city with the main transportation center and a major street right beside it, it was very quite in the hotel room which made getting over jet lag easier.

Great place to stay as always!
High quality of service as expected. Excellent location. Breakfast was great. The lighting took a little while to adjust but after I settled in, it was not a problem at all. My favourite was the free shuttle bus service to the airport express entrance at Taipei Station where I could do my advance check in and then have some time to shop in Taipei without my luggage. Note, you can only do the check in at Taipei station when you fly with China or Eva airline at the moment

Great hotel, easy directions from airport
We chose this hotel because they have a great video on how to use the MRT to get to the hotel. We did the underground version and it worked fine. Just one indication of how attentive this hotel is. Only disconcerting thing was that the room lighting had a motion detector so that the bathroom area lit up automatically. No way to sneak to the bathroom without potentially waking the other person.

Good hotel but annoying smart lights
everything good but the rooms are dark with dimmed lighting which can be annoying sometimes. To make it worse the smart lights are seriously annoying.
