If you arrived late, there was no parking except in a dirt lot beyond the building. Scary. Toilet in room was for small girls, not any size of man. Had to leave hotel to find man sized toilet to sit on.

This is an older property that has been through renos so is in decent shape. There is a standard continental breakfast included, (fruit, breads, pastries, sausages and pancakes). It is on a main road and the Sky Train runs across the street, but most of the rooms don't face the road. I'm half deaf, so can't really comment on noise levels. The housekeepng staff I saw were all masked, but no one else was.

The hotel is in a dodgy neighbourhood and it has a creepy surroundings when you arrive. There is a smoking tent in the parking lot that is very depressing looking and full of construction workers drinking and smoking. Not very welcoming. The lobby isn't welcoming and it looks run down. But that said, the room was clean, the beds and bedding were comfortable. But we won't return after learning that there was a targeted murder in the parking lot in summer 2022.

We picked the hotel because of its affordability and the ok reviews. It’s a standard two star hotel. Parking was free and just outside. The room itself was small and smelled bad. There clearly had been people smoking in our room at some point previously. The tv didn’t work (they rectified this by the second night). The room was dirty. There were squished spiders on the bathroom door that had been there a while. The sheets were stained with make up and something that looked like blood. Some of the pillows had clearly been in existence for 30 years and needed chucking! The first night, there was a random man stood outside our hotel room when we arrived at about 10:30. When we went in our room he just walked off. He didn’t work there and I don’t even think he was a bore guest. The second night, when we returned to our room, the key card no longer worked. I told reception and were given access to the room. I think they would have given us access to anyones room if we had provided their number instead. The security is definitely in need of improvement. It’s a suitable place to get your head down, but I would only recommend spending the exact amount of time that you intend to sleep at the hotel and no more.
