Food was good. Overall good service for the food staff. Good choices in the budget. The room was terrible. First I was assigned a last back room which was congested. I requested a different room which I got immediately. However the view was terrible. I was overlooking some building construction next door. Not worth for a hill station visit. Also I had paid for superior double room. I was told this is not a double room you get single room with large bad.

Great location
Even though the hotel was very comfortable and surrounded by picturesque locations it was a shock to hear from the hotel that my booking is not confirmed. the hotel said that my booking was denied because the rate offered by Hotel.com does not match with their current rate. it took lots of persuasion and logics to allow me stay in the hotel. I am unable to understand as to why it happened since money was debited from my account and I got a confirmation of booking from your end. another point of concern is related to the location of the hotel .it was mentioned in your information on the hotel was that it is just 3.5 KM from the Mall road where as it was about 20 KMs. this was a misinformation causing hardship. I need an explanation on this issue else I will desist from making any reservations thru Hotel.com.

Terrible Experience
The outer look of the hotel does not match with the facilities and inner comfort of the hotel. I had very sick experience in this hotel considering the amount of money I paid for the stay. From bed to food everything is below quality. To top up, this hotel shows up in Shimla in search results however it is 35 Kms from shimla in a pace called Mashobara. I do not recommend to stay here.

Out of town - countryside location
OK -here we go !! The surrounding countryside is spectacular and there were some good walking areas nearby BUT hotel itself is overpriced for what it was. Food is all pure vegetarian / rooms COLD and not very clean. We were ther ein march and had to keep teh 2 bar electric heater on all day & night ( not exactly eco friendly). Would rate this a 2 star max & that is based on India's ratings - not western. They called it a resort - which frankly is a joke - no pool / no entertainment & no grounds to speak of. Staff were as helpful as they could be - but they had scarce resources and little information about what could be seen & done in the area. Note: Costs 800 rupees 1 way in a taxi from Shimla station - or 20 rupees on the local bus - both exciting rides along the winding mountainsides. Would we stay here again ? No - but then we wouldn't ever go to Shimla again either.....

Nice and Clean hotel
I had booked this hotel for BIL honeymoon. When i asked him about his stay at this hotel he was very pleased and said it was a very good hotel. The management was good. Though he was very pleased about everything of this hotel, he mentioned that it was 10-12 kms away from Shimla. So he had to have a car to roam around in Shimla. But it was worth staying in this hotel because of nice scenic views and of course the quality of the hotel!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to have a vehicle to commute.
