A great location overlooking Nawiliwili Bay and just across the road from the beach and park. Lots of great food nearby within a short walk. Shopping (supermarkets, Costco, etc.) just five minutes away. Even though it's near the airport, this is the approach end, so except for the helicopters, it's not a noise factor.
The view from the rooms range from spectacular to not-so-much. If that is a factor, it is probably best to book directly through the resort so you don't get stuck looking at foliage or other buildings. Many but not all units have a carport.
There is a full, well-equipped kitchen, but if you need any supplies or ingredients beyond paper towels, detergent, salt and pepper, you'll need to stock up on your own. Unlike rental condos, nothing remains from previous visits.
Cooling is provided by several room air conditioners. This is helpful if different members of your party have different temperature preferences. They worked quite well and proved to be a better option (though a bit noisier) than central air.
Our unit (and I think most) was a two-story townhouse configuration with the kitchen, dining area, living room and half bath on the first floor, with the bedrooms and full bath on the second. If mobility is an issue for anyone in in your party, this is probably not the best choice in Lihue.
