Great hotel right in the city centre
Unbeatable location, just one block away from the main shopping pedestrian street of Vitosha boulevard. Rosslyn Thracia is a small hotel of about 60 rooms on 8 floors with 2 lifts, so it was quick to get in and out. We were on the 4th floor in room 408. The room was very well appointed and had all the mod-cons, including TV, ta and coffee making facilities, minibar, aircon. It suited 3 of us veey well. Beds were comfortable and there was a selection of pillows to choose from. Storage space was good and there were plenty of towels and bath robes provided. Room was clean and well0insulated from street noise even though we were facing the main Solunska street. My only remarks would be towards the bathroom, which was a bit dated and could do with a bit of a refurbishment - shower enclosure was leaking, shower head needed a bit of clean-up and descaling and there was a bit of mould on some of the seals. Also the pockets of one of the bath robes were torn off in several places. The hotel offers breakfast for EUR 10 per person. This is served in the lobby, which is quite small and there did not seem to be a lot of choice. There are a lot of options on Vitosha boulevard 2 to 5 minutes away, so we opted for these instead.

nice, modern hotel close to Sofia center
Hotel and staff are both nice. If you aren't russian or bulgarian no TV channels to watch except for one British (?) new channel. WiFi was generally spotty and at times unstable - disappearing entirely. On the flip side, hotel manager (?) was very helpful when I really needed working WiFi and gave me access to an internal network
