Wonderful location on the Grand Canal with a feeling of staying with a rich uncle in a private villa. Room was small but on a corner with windows opening on to a lovely canal, and plenty of lounges to relax in.

Fabulous 'Pensione'. Not a hotel as such and don't worry about the lack of an elevator: They will carry your luggage. The Villa has much history to be admired and viewed at your leisure. Have breakfast on the terrace and then spend the day walking around Venice. What's not to love!! Ideal for restaurants and sightseeing. Garden-view rooms are quieter than canal-view rooms. staff are very friendly and will help with even the dumbest questions!! Nothing to dislike.
