Westbeach Holiday Apartments
"We stayed in the Westbeach apartments for 3 nights during the summer holidays. We had a 3 bed apartment for our family of 4, plus my father in law. The apartment was spacious and really comfortable. Beds were comfy and clean. Kitchen/lounge layout is always a win for us as we love open plan. The balcony from the living room and master bedroom was just lovely. Shower/bathroom was fab with lovely shower. Everything to a fairly high spec. We read the sad story behind the development of the apartments, but amazing that they managed to get them finished! The half finished building next to Westbeach is an absolute eyesore. One night we did see what looked like homeless people sleeping in there, but honestly it didn't bother us and it's no ones fault that it's been left in that state. It took us quite a while to find the apartment! But that's likely more on us and our navigation skills than anyone else's fault! We parked right by the apartment which was hassle free and fine for our tall campervan. We were right in the hustle and bustle of westward ho and it was lovely. Would use the apartments again- they were lovely, thank you :-)"
Durrant House Hotel
"We stayed six nights and enjoyed it immensely. There is a real homely feeling to the hotel. There were a few niggles but you get them wherever you go. The staff were polite, friendly and most attentive. The bar and restaurant were more than satisfactory and the heated outdoor pool was a brilliant addition. We will definitely be going back especially since my partners friend is residing in Bideford now and we will happily reserve a room at Durant House Hotel whenever we visit."
The Waterfront Inn
"We found the stay very enjoyable. The hotel was in an excellent location for the local amenities and the beach. Parking was never a problem. There were plenty of places to eat and drink, both inside and al fresco. We particularly enjoyed the Thatchers cider. Everywhere was very clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would be very happy to recommend your hotel to anyone we know going to Westward Ho, and would like to return one day."
The Hoops Inn
"We had a comfortable stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good cookes English breakfast and other options available to order, providing a great start to the day. We also had dinner and it was very good and reasonably priced. As the property is an older building, some noise transfer is to be expected. Sound carries along the corridors, and the timber floors do creak in places. If you are a light sleeper, be mindful. Overall, we felt the property offered good value for money."
The Wayfarer Inn
"Very nice room with sea view, unfortunately very steep stairs to get there and as suffering mobility issues, not the best, although staff were not aware. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal for 7 highly commented on favourably, hot plates and food. Unfortunately a bout of food poisoning occurred overnight, although the source cannot be confirmed but suspected. Would recommend and stay again. Chair to be placed in room in September after renovations will be a bonus."
Seagate
"Great spacious accommodation right on the sea front great views in the middle of town"
Instow Barton
"Lovely safe comfortable B&B situated an 10 minute walk to the beach and a couple of good pubs. Easy to drive to other locations to explore, such as Arlington Court and Exmoor Zoo. The breakfast was really lovely with a selection of cooked, yoghurt, fruit and juice, enough to keep you going past lunch."
Fosfelle Cottages
"Lovley place. The 2 hosts were amazing went above and beyond for us. 100% going back."
The Royal George
"Staff were amazing. So helpful and friendly. Beautiful bespoke room. Amazing food and drinks. Perfect location"

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a better deal on your stay at a hotel in Bideford. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels might provide a more personalized experience and potentially greater value. - Consider your location: Staying closer to major attractions or city centres can be convenient, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, as they are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
