Fabulous House and grounds, certainly recommend it.

Couple of not so goods but mostly very good.
Room was a little small. Very clean and quiet; great! No bottle of water available in the room. Coffee was instant; not nice. They did provide biscuits, which was welcomed. They charge £2 to park your car per night, which is a very silly thing to do because it comes across as trivial. If you need £2 per night, add it to the cost of the room; don't charge for your car park. Finally, to the receptionist, whether joking or not, please don't share with me that you like any excuse to beat the cleaning staff. I don't appreciate such a sense of humour. It's not needed, doesn't build rapport at check-in and is not professional.

Fantastic breakfast

Good 6.0
Stayed here plenty of times and rooms always comfortable and clean. No bar or food here (unless you count a continental breakfast) but that's never bothered me here as its easy to get a taxi into Camb centre. Bazaarly Rectory are now charging £2 parking fee to park at there own site (rural out of town)! If this was included within the nightly fee I wouldn't have noticed, it's just so odd.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel based in an old country house. Very clean well lit rooms with a nice modern touch. Good location as only a few minutes drive or walk from Madingley road park and ride. Breakfast was a little expensive for what you get but not required, would recommend finding something to eat in town instead.

A hidden gem
All great. The Annex isn't quite as characterful and eccentric as the main house but it's still great (and great value). I've stayed more than once and have no complaints.

Good 6.0
Beautiful setting, but separated from the rest of our party on the other side of the car park. One of our party also awoken by water dripping from the celling in the early hours.
