Learn more about Ischia

Volcanic magic awaits in thermal springs where locals have soaked for centuries. The Aragonese Castle rises dramatically from rocky cliffs, connected to the mainland by an ancient stone bridge. Wander Via Vittoria Colonna to discover boutiques in pastel buildings before relaxing at Spiaggia Degli Inglesi. The Royal Palace offers a glimpse into aristocratic island life, while Piazza degli Eroi buzzes with locals sipping espresso. Terme di Ischia's healing mud baths work miracles on travel-weary muscles. For dinner, follow fishermen to family-run trattorias where seafood arrives incredibly fresh. Save room for limoncello made from island lemons that grow as big as grapefruits. The port area transforms at sunset when day-trippers depart and the real Ischia emerges.

  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in an Ischia hotel. If you're seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Ischia's outstanding public transportation system, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit farther out that still offers great connectivity. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there’s often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
