Impressed
I was very impressed by the original interior of the hotel. I liked it a lot. The restaurant experience was great too. My favorite dish was a pumpkin soup. :)

Quirky stylish hotel
What a very stylish hotel - unique and bit quirky and reflect the local heritage. We stayed in two rooms, a twin (bunk beds) and a single (double bed). Both rooms were well kitted out. The twin room, despite my initial reservations, were great and the beds themselves were large and comfortable. The area is currently being redeveloped but the rooms are well sound proofed and provided a great nights sleep. Easy access to public transport but there was so much within walking distance we didn't use it much. We didn't have breakfast as there were plenty of local cafes nearby, so can't comment on the breakfast. Would definitely stay again if I were to visit Hamburg.

Englishman's view
I enjoyed my stay but the design of the vertical surface above the bed caused me to hit my head against it when I bent down to place or remove something from the bedside table.

Ahoy matey!
An absolute gem of a hotel. From the moment that you enter the premises the nautical theme delights with its tongue in cheek clever design. Every element is thoughtfully put together to create this gem. To say more would be a spouler alert. Definitely worthy of a visit.

Comfortable and convenient
Modern, clean and well designed hotel. Good open areas for working and eating, food in the restaurant was good value and tasty, with good service. Room very good. Everything I needed and laid out well. Highly recommend, would not hesitate to stay there again.
