Gone downhill
Been coming here for many years and used to love it. But last 2 visits not so much. Staff is great but the place itself is going downhill. We stayed at the inn this time…Cleaning could be a bit better as the underside of the toilet seat was dirty. And the door to the room did not latch and lock. Could just push it open. The biggest disappointment in the last couple visits has been the adult rec Center/pool. No towels or fire last time, and this time the jets didn’t work in the pool, and when we went back for a morning dip we lasted about 2 min because the water was cold! Will I stay again? Probably. Would I recommend? Maybe. I just really hope things get better in the future as I know what it used to be and can be

Maybe the best couples retreat ever
We were simply blown away by the staff and this resort. My hubby and I were looking for a winter getaway and a chance to decompress for a week together. Unfortunately, his back went out the day before we left, and he was in pain when we arrived. The firm mattress was likely great for others but really made his pain worse. We were looking at having to leave early and get him back home to feel better. I spoke with the front desk staff and explained our problem. They didn’t waste any time coming up with solutions. They offered to let us switch rooms right away to a bed with a topper or to waive any fees for cancelling the remaining three days of our reservation. We preferred to stay in our larger room that they upgraded because of my silver status with hotels.com. The housekeeping staff bought a foam topper for the bed and we had the best sleep! Their care and understanding really made the difference. E we took beautiful hikes in Glacier National Park and spent time relaxing afterwards in the huge hot tub. Back massages at the spa were amazing and restorative. We’re already planning our return trip with the family. We loved this place and highly recommend.

We were at Meadow Lake 3 years ago and had a good experience so came back this year for a little break. Our first time in the US since covid. Dinner was good in the bar and Cliff was a delight. Would like to come back during the spring or summer next year.
