APA Hotel Asakusa-Kuramae, Tokyo
Ok for a night
Small room with bed difficult to enter. Mattress too soft for two people. Very expensive for the tiny room, even for Tokyo. The small bath with view of the Sky-tree is nice.

Nice place.
Nice staff. Spectacular view of the Sumida river and the Sky Tree. Only complaint is that plug in internet in 1002 was not working. Used the hotel wifi but was not as good for watching video as the plug in cable which worked fine in another room I had.

shocked with how my room turned out to be.
This was my 2nd time staying here. Surprisingly this time the stay was not good as the last time. 1. I found a hole in the wall by my bed near the floor...just before going to sleep. 2. My bedroom floor and desk/fridge storage area was dusty and was not completely clean when I checked in to it (which isn't good for me as I'm allergic to dust) 3. The neighbors in the early mornings made a lot of noise and left me without much sleep. 4. I requested upper floor in the hotel, I ended up on 2nd floor in a corner room. 5. The onsen washroom has no washroom slippers...and the ground was quite dirty in there. 6. I found that the elevator smell of cigarette smoke. I thought it's mostly a non smoking hotel? Therefore, this time my was quite disappointing.

first time stay at this location
it was ok. was originally hoping for a room with a view...but ended up facing the wall of the other building instead. also didn't expect the spa (onsen) to be so small. compared to the one located at Sugamo, size was is much smaller. though view of the skytree makes up for it
