The hotel is so so
Location is good, but room condition is bad. Bath room did not clear well and water on floor could not get out

I stayed here on a Friday night with my husband and 2 kids. The location was awesome, because we were in the center of everything. Walking distance! I had a double bed room and it was small. There was live music that ended until 11pm and the morning traffic noise started at 7am. The music was very load!! There was no way we can rest until it was done. If you want to stay up late and wake up early, this is a great hotel!

Really enjoyed it!
Overall it was good. Some small inconveniences, the way the shower door opened made some water splash on the out side of the shower making it very slippery. I wish they had told me that lights only worked when the key was i serted in the appropriate slot i had to go down and ask after 2 hrs I was there. But I was in 3rd flood and the out side noise and traffic was bearly audible. I was surprised. I really liked how close it was to everything. In the lobby, if you can purchase your tour on a tranvia its such an amazing experience.

Beautiful Hotel But Noisy Nights
What a lovely hotel! Centrally located in the beautiful colonial city of Morelia, facing the city plaza, there are dozens of attractions and excellent restaurants within walking distance. Freshly renovated with modern amenities and interior decor, it nonetheless retains the character and charm of its original 1937 building. Staff are friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect EXCEPT the street noise! With loud music, sirens, etc., till the wee hours of the morning infiltrating from the main street, plaza and other nearby bars and restaurants, it is impossible to get a good night's sleep. Management needs to replace the original windows with tighter-fitting, sound-proof ones. In the meantime, insist on a room that does NOT front the street/plaza. It may not offer as wonderful a view, but at least you may be able to sleep!

Good hotel choice for a few days
The location in Centro couldn't be better, but take good earplugs if you want to get to sleep before midnight. The lively and lovely Jardin is a hotbed of activity each night. The lobby is a bit crowded and rather odd to get around in, but the front desk people were very helpful to two American ladies without much Spanish. The beds were very comfortable, the room clean and well organized. Definitely recommended.

I’ll be back! Outstanding hotel. Stay here!
I highly recommend this hotel. I could not have been more pleased. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The location is perfect. The hotel is in impeccable condition. It is beautiful, clean, extremely comfortable, modern amenities, beautifully decorated and the employees, staff, reception, everyone, are professional, helpful, smiling and friendly, I stayed on the fourth floor facing the courtyard and heard absolutely nothing at night. No street noise, no music, no conversations, just guests going to and from their rooms. I’ve stayed in other hotels on the same street and the noise varies from hotel to hotel depending on Street front versus courtyard. The room was beautiful, spacious, the bed was comfortable, queen-size, and the bathroom was extremely large with big counters. Plenty of space. Also, the shower was spacious with excellent hot water! Outstanding Wi-Fi. Fast. Never a problem staying connected. And an excellent climate control system. This is one of the few hotels in the historic zone that comes with air-conditioning in every room. Again, I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

What a difference a room can make
My husband and I stayed here last year and had a wonderful experience. We booked 2 days before our stay and had the most beautiful room. Additionally, our request of a single bed rather than 2 double beds were met. The complimentary breakfast buffet was also fantastic. It was so good, we decided to come back again this summer. This time we booked 4 months in advance. Our request for a single bed was not met, and suddenly our booking did not include breakfast. We were in a room on the top floor, and the elevator was out of service. We were completely disappointed, especially when we asked to speak with a manager and no one would help accommodate any issue we had. We will NEVER stay here again.
