Overall ok, but expensive
The views from the hotel are very nice and staff is very friendly. Breakfast had a great selection. However our suite was in disrepair. The sink leaked all over the floor, the patio door didn’t lock, and the light in the closet shocked my husband when he tried to turn it off. It seems as though this once 5 star hotel has slipped a bit. Additionally, the hotel is set quite far from a main road and town making it difficult or pricey to leave for dinner/excursions unless you rent a scooter or hire a car. There are 3 options for restaurants offered, but all 3 are really expensive for Bali standards and didn’t serve exquisite food to hold up the pricing.

480$ stay with a 120$ value
Paid 470$ for a 120$ room... The difference in price was apparently the exclusive service that was not offered in any way. Used the hotels.com app to find a hotel next to a particular beach because of a photo shoot next day. Cheapest suite the app showed was 480$ so I booked it. At arrival I asked for a direct price for a possible extension - I was very surprised to hear that the price was 120$. I looked online and discovered that at all other websites the same suite was sold at 120$ and the only difference to description on hotels.com was "exclusive service package" that accounted for 350$ What was this exclusive package? Spa, food, driver? Nobody did know that and nobody cared... Super disappointing stay, can not recommend or will never go back!

Loved the views, food was also great and the service was exceptional. They have fantastic staff who went above and beyond. Location in Uluwatu is perfect for visiting many of the beach clubs and Uluwatu Temple. There are also monkeys that live near the property and occasionally make a welcome visit

Smart and wonderful staff
Superb hotel. Excellent service. Great rooms and views. Beach is only accessible at certain times and is not really a swimming beach, but the next beach is perfect. Every bill every hotel etc will add 20% . Service and tax be prepared. Tepanyaki is good , breakfast also. Food etc in line with room prices. You will need taxis which are cheap and the hotel has transport at higher prices but nicer vehicles. Nothing is too much trouble, but they will charge. Staff are a delight.

The staff of the resort are very friendly and never fail to greet us whenever they saw us. We travel a lot, and this isn’t something you get to experience much. The hotel assist with the special arrangement that I have requested and have it done perfectly. Highly appreciate the hotel management in sending in the bday cake for my fiancé. It was midnight when we checked in, and the hotel have everything setup properly. We spent a wonderful 3 days 2 nights stay at resort. The outdoor jacuzzi facing the ocean is definitely something we would like to enjoy again from time to time. Best getaway you can have. Thanks for all staff in Anantara uluwatu bali. Regards, PJ

Me & my partner loved our stay at Anantara. Our room was spacious with everything we needed. Large comfy bed, great Bose surround sound system, balcony jacuzzi, large his & hers bathroom amenities. We really enjoyed the infinity pool overlooking the beach below & all of Bali in the horizon. Food was exceptional from the wide selection buffet breakfast each morning to the pool bar for lunch & the teppanyaki for dinner. Would gladly recommend this resort & will stay again in the future
