I’ve stayed here on business multiple times in the last year and can not fault anything about it. Fantastic staff, food and the rooms are great,always immaculately clean and it’s in a great location.

Nice place very convenient for town
Friendly establishment near the centre of town with its own car park for guests. Breakfast was lovely.Room had every thing for the traveller including coffee maker air con and electric fan. Due to the age and quirkyness of the building itself the bathroom in our accommodation was on the small side but that said we managed perfectly well. Would reccommend.

Unbeatable value for money
Points earned for the lack of single use plastics and quality teas and coffees in the room. Breakfast was excellent and value for money was outstanding. Could do better on very old TV in room which required some wire jiggling to get a picture. An electric vehicle charging point or two would also have been welcome

Food was excellent, had dinner and breakfast there and enjoyed both immensely so they should definitely do what they can to keep their chef. All other staff were polite, helpful and professional, really can’t find much fault really.

I always stay bat the Peel when I am working in the area. It has friendly welcoming staff. The rooms are really nice, well maintained and clean. There is a decent restaurant as well which is reasonably priced and good quality fayre. Cant fault it to be honest, and a lot more customer friendly than other national type of hotel.

This is a restaurant/wine bar but with rooms above and in a separate building to the side. Overall, it's super value; my room was a little on the small side but perfectly adequate and comfortable; the restaurant is fine and service is really good.
