Dai-ichi Takimotokan
"Incredible spa stay. Perfection in hospitality and Incredible staff service. If u are headed to the area this is THE place to spend your night. Treat yourself to luxury and enjoy the spa and it's refreshing waters. Cannot recommend enough! GO!!"
Nikko Style Niseko HANAZONO
"Very clean and modern rooms. Fabulous shower and unique layout. Breakfast and dinner were great too. Can see why it got its 2025 award. Mt. Yotei views spectacular."
Kitutuki Canadian Club
"Really lovely stay with great views of Lake Toya. Get the breakfast. Too good."
premium-lake-toya
"The venue is wonderful. Located slightly off the town centre. However, it was challenging to get dinner on site as dinner has to be pre booked. A bit of challenge for us as we did not know that and many places in town closed early. Breakfast was excellent. I had the Japanese breakfast and hubby had the western. Both were very good."
Toya Onsen Hotel Hanabi
"Great place stay. Loved the tatami room with a really nice view to the lake. The Onsen was great too, pity it was closed for maintenence in the morning when I wanted to check out."
Toya Kohantei
"A solid 2 points higher on a 0-10 scale than I expected, enchanting"
Toyako Onsen Hokkai Hotel
"This seasoned hotel turned out very satisfying to me. Though at one end of the beach park, it boasts a great view, with access to spacious beach front. Just as the picture of its exterior onsen spa shows, you can see the mountain at the far end of the lake. Also the check-in time is not as restrictive as some online review complained (before 6pm) so more flexible for a busy travel schedule. The staff is courteous and responsive to guests' need when they observe it. The only challenge for guests is, lack of Japanese language skills may restrict their communication with the staff. But this creates a real motivation for repeating guests to pick up some common tourist Japanese. And another possible annoyance is the residue smoke smell, if you are really sensitive which I am luckily not. So in short, I would love to stay in this hotel in my next visit to Lake Toya."
THE TOYA
"Lovely staff and a quaint little place, but at the time of booking I didn’t realise it was one shared toilet down very narrow stairs, which isn’t great in the middle of the night. Of course this isn’t the fault of the hotel, just be aware of this when booking. "
