"Loved the location of being nearer the old side of Kyoto. Spacious lobby was lovely along with rooftop bar. Balance between sympathetic design and modern luxury. Breakfast was excellent and very varied to others we had in Japan. Room was good and a generous size. Ground floor didn’t have much light but that was okay as we were out all day. Only negatives, only one chair in room and not many places to be comfy and relax. No bath. Laundrette was not nearly big enough, turned out to be very stressful waiting for dryers. Would return if visiting Kyoto again though!"
