It felt like a prison cell the hotel itself was alright but the room size was barely enough to fit a person

The good, the bad and the ugly
The good: The neighborhood is great, the staff is super willing to help, and basically it's a fantastic concept hostel, so don't expect a butler taking care of you. The bad: Since the cabins have no ceiling, you can hear everything; not a big deal if you use the earplugs provided to you. The ugly: You'll find homeless people in the second floor (they're not aggressive, just watching TV) but in my experience they took over the shared bathroom. Also, there's somebody living at the left end of the second floor with a repair shop or something like that, so you can expect noise from 5:30 a.m.

The bed was very small. I wasn't able to straighten my legs when sleeping.

PRISON
Worst place ever!! Do not EVER stay here. -no hot water in the showers -stayed here for 5 nights and got NO sleep!! You can hear everything, and no one staying there seems to care what time of the day it is- constant noise -the room was so small I couldn't even open my suitcase, I had to put it on the bed every time I needed something from it -they might aswell advertise it as a prison. Don't be fooled by the nice staircase. Go spend an extra $50 a night and stay somewhere else. The people that work the front desk are aware of how bad the conditions are coz they hear about it from other guests every day but they literally can't do anything about it

A quick stay at The Bowery House
Very short, the cabin (for single use)was very tiny and unconfortable, with lots of nose, especially in the morning.
