Stay at this hotel often. The staff are friendly, the beds are comfy, it’s got a car park which is like gold dust in Bristol, and the hotel is in a perfect location.

I am a 71 year old traveler who is still fit and healthy, however it would have been impossible to drag my case up the narrow stairs of three levels especially as they were very steep and the treads very short. I was assured the room was quiet which in terms of other visitors disturbing me is true, nevertheless the road noise continues well into the night as the windows are single glazed and of sash design so not well sealed. The hotel position is superb and close to local interests. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked

Excellent location for Clifton village with bus stop right outside the hotel making easy access to Bristol town centre/station. Spacious room, spotlessly clean though main building is a little tired around the edges. Friendly approachable staff. Breakfast was good, but some of the buffet options did run out.
