Affordable, meets basic needs
You can definitely tell this is an old motel. However, it is affordable and meets basic needs. It works if you're just looking for a quick overnight stay. The location is relatively quiet and close to WEM. The only major downside is the breaker would trip if a light was turned on when the window unit air conditioner was running and you have to call the front desk to get the breaker reset. Not an issue on a cooler day i would like to think.

This is a run-down property, with unsafe stairs to go up 2nd level. Airci is in the " sitting area" hence no cooling in the bedroom. This is NOT for tourists, but maybe for people who live and work there. One positive aspect: breakfast to go in the bag.

I like a cheap motel as much as the next person. Didnt need fancy, all i wanted was a cheap clean motel room for one work night. My expectations were not high considering the bargain price. Frank Gallager (Shameless... anyone?) would raise eyebrows at the state of this room walking in. Terrible smell, looks nothing like the photos online. Didnt look like anybody had cleaned it at all. Trust the other bad reviews. Absolutely would not stay here again, even in a pinch. Only reason i stayed was because i was exhausted and i had already paid for the night on the expedia app. Otherwise Id have left and stayed literally anywhere else
