Very Good
Great location
I really like the location of this hotel and this was the 3rd time staying here but for some reason the room we're staying in this time #711 you could clearly hear in to the next door room and also the subway underneath. I was surprised because we never heard anything from the rooms we stayed in prior.

Great location for exploring the neighbourhood, you can easily spend a few days just checking the surrounding blocks...

Exceptional
Beautiful Boutique Hotel
The service was very friendly, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was excellent! The room was cozy but that is to be expected in Manhattan. Will definitely be back!

Great but room for improvement.
My wife and I enjoyed 11 Howard. The hotel is nice and the neighbourhood's access to the subway line is perfect for seeing the whole city. Direct access to Time Square, Upper West and East side. 11 Howard struggles a bit with a desire to be seen as a hip spot with a night club and a welcoming place for guests. Service staff weren't always the most welcoming. Unfortunately, the gorgeous hotel bar (The Blond) is only open to hotel guests until 10pm and closed for business on Sunday night. It would be nice for the hotel to place the focus on guests and aim to make the amenities more focused to traveler schedules that don't necessarily follow days of the week. For us, we took a long-weekend in NY and so our Sunday was actually our Friday night. Why would the bar be closed for travelers who don't really care about what day of the week it is? The free wine happy hour is a great touch but why not make it every day instead of Tues/Thurs/Sat. For some people, those days don't work. The room could use a bit of paint as there are quite a few scuff marks on the walls but overall its a nice room. The AC unit was pretty loud as it turned on and off. Le Coucou was a great place for breakfast and the Library is a very relaxing lounge. When we did make requests of the front desk they were extremely responsive and kind.
