Pros:
The price for the 2-night stay at a peak time was competitive.
Check-in was quick, and the staff was available when needed.
Conveniently located about 10-15 minutes from Oldtown Scottsdale.
Cons:
The hotel was further from stores and the public than the norm and, as time went on, I began to feel isolated from the actual city of Scottsdale.
There were odd smells and mysterious noises throughout each night. This left me with a generally bad feeling about the location that only worsened as my stay continued.
There were multiple hairs found within my room and felt generally unclean.
The lack of a refrigerator, microwave, or any sort of amenity that a guest might enjoy was disappointing.
The holes in the wall next to the bathroom and the lack of care indicated poor quality control.
I believe it may be a hot spot for sex trafficking.
My thoughts:
Is it worth it?
If you're looking for the cheapest hotel next to a casino and don't care about the environment or plan to be there much, yes, it's probably worth it.
However, if sex trafficking, poor living conditions, and an unsafe environment are a concern for you when selecting a hotel, there are better options nearby.
You get what you pay for. They demonstrate this better than any hotel I have ever stayed at. I feel more comfortable at Motel 6.
I will not return to this location or any similar type of hotel again.
