Very Good8.0
Location Location
Outstanding location right on Grand Canal, close to ferry stop and very central to everything. I was there end of Oct and had the place to myself. There are three rooms of the main floor, two of which have a view of the canal and the third faces the town ( no canal view) it looked like there was a fourth room upstairs. I chose Torcello room facing the canal. The view and location was spectacular... but with this comes noise from the ferries...this didn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Overal the place was very cute and clean, the bathroom (shared) was very clean. My only complaint is that there were squished dead mosquitos on the bedroom walls and they could use a cost of paint. Breakfast was ok... mostly packaged things ... not much fresh other than a few apples. The breakfast from is cute and there is a lovely balcony looking over the canal.

Canal view rooms in a great location
We arrived in Venice at the train station and took the vaporetto to our stop which took about 10-15 mins. B&B Rialto was a 1 minute walk from the stop and easy to find. We were greeted by Luciano who is the friendliest, full of humour fella that we met in Venice. He showed us the view from the kitchen terrace first - what a view looking out over the canal in the sun with all of the boats cruising by. He explained about the kitchen, bathroom and showed us to our room which also has 2 windows looking over the canal - what more could you ask for in Venice. The B&B was very clean and comfortable, bedroom was spacious and relaxing. It is still a B&B so there are other people around and have to plan your time in the bathroom in the morning accordingly but it's not a big deal. It's a very old building and doesn't have the best sound proofing - but you didn't come to Venice to sleep did you! Thanks again Luciano - hope to see you again!

A piece of heaven in Venice.
The location was wonderful. The rooms were wonderful. The view was magnificent. And breakfast was abundant and really good. We got good recommendations for restaurants. Really close to the Rialto bridge and transportation.

Beautiful location. Great terrace view of the Grand Canal. Warm hospitality and a lovely breakfast. We made some mistakes trying to find the location. Make sure you have good directions.
