Lovely and cozy rooms with friendly service
We had an amazing time at Narrow Gauge Inn. George was especially helpful and made us feel at home. Make sure to try out the restaurant and take a quick hike down the trail

    Not great
Don’t spend $10 on their abysal breakfast. The dinner menu was overpriced as well. The room gave the 2 of us an allergic reaction and the lady at the front desk gave us bad information about the roads. It is very secluded (which is expected in Yosemite) but there are definitely better located hotels. Would not recommend staying here. Checked out early.

Pay a little more if you want internet.
We stayed for the night since we went to Yosemite. I don't know why, but I can't seem to sleep in this inn, it might be the loud air conditioner that went off every 15 minutes. The hotel room was clean and has a beautiful backdrop though. Also, the office lady did warn us about spotty internet, and it turns out to be very spotty, I get a connection once every 15 minutes for like 30 seconds before its gone again.

    Nice motel, poor restaurant
We've stayed at the Narrow Gauge inn before and enjoyed it. This time we brought the family and had multiple rooms. They were all nice and comfortable. The staff when we arrived were nice and accommodating. The only issue we had was the below mediocre breakfast buffet. The food was bland and served at room temperature which is not really appetizing for potatoes, eggs, and sausage. There was only one person working in the restaurant and he was both cooking the food and trying to keep up with the needs of the diners. He couldn't keep up and service was not good. The breakfast used to be complimentary and now it costs $10, which isn't a lot but next time we will head down to Oakhurst for breakfast.
