fabulous stay
Stay here was brilliant. Its like a family run B&B and the rooms are nice and comfortable. The service made our stay very pleasant. The food was good and despite the restaurant being pretty much booked out the staff made a table for us. I recommend trying their fish of the day and the starters made from local crabs. As for the stay, I recommend the garden view room.

Deep in the Devon countryside
We enjoyed this B&B very much. It is great living over a wonderful restaurant and snug pub. The only problem was accessibility - the road from Kingsbridge was much longer than we expected and a nightmare for American drivers. Except for the path around the Ley pool, one had to drive to other hiking locations. By the end of our trip, we were a little tired of traditional English breakfasts, so the chef whipped up specialized breakfasts for us that were perfect. Staff was friendly and chatty, and it was easy to converse with other guests.
