Ridiculous and very unsecure late check in process. Still have not returned my security deposit of $100 over 2 weeks. Have tried to communicate with hotel who sent a patronising reply that "if I'm so worried I should check with my bank" but also refused to give me any proof (and to clarify, I fully understand how preauthorized funds work, even though they assume I'm too silly to know how this is supposed to work). I did check with bank, my funds have not been returned. Sent another email to chase, and it looks like I'm being ghosted.
Who wants this stress for a quick 1 night stop over, plenty of other hotel options in the same price range without all this hassle (not even charging security deposits) same quality, so recommend going elsewhere. I gave them a chance to rectify the situation, but they are not helpful, and somehow imply, it is me that has made an error??? See if they reply to this review and you'll see what I mean, not willing to accept any wrong doing or try and help in anyway. And for the record, I never leave negative reviews, I always leave good ones, or none at all, but this has been very frustrating.
