First the best thing about this place is the staff. They r extremely friendly, speak English and r very helpful.
The grounds r nice. Very tropical and it has an "Old world Mexican charm to it.". 3 pools. 1 on the roof. Great atmosphere. The place has over 70 rooms and it's still very cozy.
The rooms. An upgraded room has an enormous bathtub. U could fit 4 people in it. If you r traveling with a significant other and u think you will use the tub, then book this room. If you r not going to use the tub or u are traveling alone book the cheaper room. The shower in this room is very small.
I think the tub rooms were upgraded a few years ago. It cut down on the size of the room. U actually can't open half the armoire in the room because the furniture is now cramped together because of the tub.
The standard room has no big tub so the room has more space. The shower is also much bigger. As a single guy the bigger shower and more space made much more sense. I would book this room over the tub rooms.
The AC in the rooms crank. The beds r very comfortable. You get a mini fridge in the room as well. The water pressure is good but really hot water last for only about 1 minute. A lot of television stations but no FOX,ABC, CBS,NBC,CNN or FoxNews.
They put Hersey kisses on your bed and even supply Qtips and cotton balls. I wish they got rid of that and provided bottled water in the room since you can't drink tap here
Overall you can't beat this place. Great safe location
