do yourself a favor, book elsewhere

My stay was 4/25-4/27… and it was not great. To start, the desk clerk seemed completely uninterested in his job, like he was bored and I was inconveniencing him. He spoke too fast for me to really understand when he asked if it was okay that the AC in the room didn't work. I said yes, not realizing that is what was said until we got to our room. (I am hard of hearing, & he had already repeated himself when I thought he said something else) WHY IS THIS EVEN A THING? Why not get it fixed?? We weren’t even offered a fan. We went back to the front desk, only to be told that there were no other rooms. We asked for a fan, because the room was very stuffy. The clerk acted like I asked him for money. He brought a small dirty fan (see photos). weather was cooler, so the room was tolerable with the fan. This establishment has ZERO pride in itself, there were so many random things wrong from the moment we walked in. The area by the front desk, elevator, and hallway all smell weird. At one point the elevator smelled like someone smoked in it. It never smelled clean, it just smelled funky. No way to hang anything up. No WIFI No bathmat towel for the bathroom floor when showering towel racks broken (see photos) faucets loose, not mounted properly, etc..(see photos) no hair dryer (see photos) No curtains, with damaged blinds - at least our window faced some woods at least we had clean linens, hot water, and no bugs unlike what we later saw in other reviews.

No Room in the Inn

We were unable to stay because Red Roof did not have a room ready one hour after our scheduled check in time. As a matter of fact, a room did not become available until 3 hours 15 minutes AFTER we were scheduled to check in. They called us at 6:15 p.m. to let us know the room was ready. By then we had already found another place to lodge. This situation was extremely unprofessional especially since we had driven several hours due to a death in our immediate family and we were tired and despondent. In my opinion, the desk clerk was very rude to us because we were upset that a room wasn’t ready. He acted as though we should not be disturbed and that we should wait for a room no matter how long it took. We WILL NOT BOOK THERE AGAIN. If the credit card has been charged, we want a FULL refund.

BARE BONES!! Two washclothes, two towels for two people for 2 days so needed to ask for more. Towels were thin. Threshold going into bathroom was held down with painter's tape that was not sticking so dusty. We put a towel over it. One bar of soap to move from sink to shower. There was trash on ground outside of building. Stairwell smelled of cigarette smoke. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean

My day was not good. I was lied on saying that my dog was barking all day and night which she was not. I have a muzzle on my animal as well, and I have got lied on saying that my dog was trying to bite at people which is defamation and I will be looking to take legal action against this HOTEL

I would look elsewhere.

The hotel was not well maintained. My room had a terrible odor and smelled like Marijuana. The shower did not drain, water for the shower did not get warm, toilet paper holder was broken and the roll was just laying in the floor and the floor was sticky. Lastly the shower handle was not easily operable as it was pulling from the wall.
