Casa Celta is in a nice quite area close to the major grocery store and nice park, its quite and I really loved the furnishings and wonderful plants. There is a kitchen available for use and the use of the refrigerator. Thanks Gwendolyn.

Comfortable and quiet small hotel.
This is an excellent small boutique hotel ran by Gwen, a French woman, who speaks Spanish, English, and French. She is extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay wonderful. Rooms are comfortable with private bathroom, AC, and ceiling fan. Breakfast is simple but good, with lots of coffee, tea, and fresh fruit juice. Location is in the heart of the historic centre and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach.

Colonial House in central Santa Marta
Great little colonial house in the centre of Santa Marta. Friendly French lady owns and runs this place, with fascinating little ornaments adorning the walls and rooms. Easy to get to street with lots of little shops, and also a big supermarket a stone's throw away. A great stay and good price !

Casa Celta is a quaint little hotel where the hostess lives. We received very good information about surroundings. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. It's a safe neighbourhood close to the centre.

What a beautiful place to stay!
We spent 3 nights at Casa Celt, such a beautiful B&B in a great location close to everything. Our room was lovely, spaceous & clean with amazing bed linen. Most importantly it had aircon! The host Gwendaline is such an amazing & helpful lady. We loved staying with her. She helped us with advice on how to get to Tayrona national park and told us the alternate trail to take, also with getting to Minca. She let us leave our bags for a night while we went to Tayrona, gave us some refreshing freshly made juice after a hot days hiking, It's the little things that count and Gwendaline goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable in her home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend the B&B to everyone.

Wonderful host and charming b&b
Casa Celta is a delightful place to stay. The French host and owner is warm and welcoming and has terrific suggestions and recommendations for both Santa Marta and nearby excursions. The location is perfect -- easy walking distance to restaurants, the bay and a supermarket but is in quite calm neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Great location and very helpful staff
The location of the place is perfect for walking around Santa Marta. The staff was also extremely friendly and informed me on everything I needed to know, including some very good restaurants nearby. I was even able to leave my things for over 24 hours while I traveled out of town. Very helpful and the price was reasonable.

Cute guest house close to Parque de Novios.
This charming guest house has three rooms for guests and a helpful and accommodating owner who speaks English, French and Spanish. The rooms have air conditioning and are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is served on a cute terrace with tropical plants and even a hammock for naps. Although billed as a "continental" breakfast, it was more substantial, including scrambled eggs, toast and jelly, freshly made fruit juices and coffee, chocolate, etc. The owner, Gwendolyn, is pleasant and offers helpful suggestions for activities. It's an easy walk down a pedestrian street to the lively Parque de Novios, with restaurants, bars and clubs.

Beautiful House, Picturesque Neighborhood
We had a terrific atay in Casa Celta. The house is beautiful and conveniently located and Gwendolyn is a font of helpful information. Plaza de los Ninos is just down the street. It's a lovely place for an evening stroll and several good restaurants are located on its perimeter. Don't miss the pizza at Cafe Ouzo!

Safe, quaint, meh.
Gwendolyn was very kind and friendly. she offered a small breakfast and map for us to use on our short stay. The bed was unfortunately very hard and the ac was loud and a little in your face. For the money, it was fine for a quick turnaround.

Excellent!
This small hotel is run by a French woman who speaks English very well! This is helpful for guests like me who only speak a small amount of Spanish. She went out of her way to help me plan a trip to Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona and made sure I had all the necessary items. She also helped me with information for a night bus. The room was very clean and quiet! It is in the center close to the sea and to the market where minibuses depart. I was thankful for air conditioning and the wifi is excellent! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Really enjoyed staying at the Casa Celta, its in a good location in the historic part of the city close to shops and some great bars and restaurants. The owner is French and fluent in English and Spanish. She is very enthusiastic about what she is doing and is well travelled so is full of usefull advice on the area. The Casa celta has a lovely patio where you have breakfast or a drink at the end of the day, it also has a hammock. It feels very secure and the rooms have brilliant aircons and TVs with a multitude of channels.

Fabuleux !
