Relaxing Lakeside Stay
Checked in at 12pm and advised we could go to our room early. 🙂 Room 307 was clean, modern and spacious. Good range of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Bottled water $4 but tap water was fine to drink. Nice toiletries provided. Two chairs plus a desk chair and small coffee table. TV channels were limited and a little hard to navigate. Outside had a lovely relaxing lakeview balcony with small table and 2 chairs. Great sunset views. Balcony was quite breezy and due to room location had limited direct sunshine. Rooms to either side were sunnier. Breakfast option was from a menu and changes or extras were frowned upon, what happened to buffet breakfast. Juice, Coffee and tea were basic and you had to pay for cappuccino or lattes. Dinner in Knotts kitchen was ok but if you have a better option then go with that. Bottle shop downstairs. Across the road provided a great range of shopping, cinema, lunch and dinner options.

Rest & relaxation time away for Valentines weekend
We had a lovely Queen bed room with an extra single.The room had a balcony over looking the lake which was peaceful to watch the rowers in the morning.Our room & bathroom with rain shower was clean & very comfortable.We also had a small table with chairs inside & also on the balcony.Breakfast was included which we could choose from a menu with lots of choices.Delicious.

Awesome spot to stay that is affordable.
Our family had a great stay at Lakes Hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were more then helpful and friendly. Robyn from Knots restaurant was the nicest person and extremely good at her job. The convenience of having Westfield shopping across the road was great. We are already looking forward to booking at Lakes hotel again. Very Happy

the room service and the cleanness was very good. I would have loved to have an area with music at night , the bar was catering for young people with cricket/ screen in the background which is ok = but there was nothing else in the hotel. some water activities / like canoe hire/ paddle boat... as to have water activities without loosing the lake serenity.
