Noisy Floor

We have always enjoyed staying here, however, this time we were placed in a room on the second floor overlooking the corner of Robson Street and Hamilton Street. We got no sleep on the Saturday night due to people very loud on the streets throughout the night.

At 5:30 am there was a horribly loud noise which sounded like a construction crew starting their shift in the suite, waking us up. The sound lasted about 5-7 minutes but came back on every 20 minutes. This was needless to say extremely annoying and frustrating. Complained to the front desk In the morning but didn’t get any answers to what was going on. Will definitely not be staying here again and will not recommend this to anyone.

Fabulous location and a comfortable stay

Absolutely fabulous location right near Robson Street. Easy walk to Canada Place and many of the must see Vancouver tourist attractions. So many local restaurants and eateries in this area that you'll be spoiled for choice! Hotel is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely. We had a great stay.

The place was in central part of downtown, which is convenient to restaurants and shopping areas. However, there was limited parking even with paid parking permits since it’s open to the public as well, so you’d have to find parking on the street and set alarm to move before 9 am. It’s good to be ‘green’ by reducing single use bottles, however, they can still provide big refillable shampoo and conditioner stationed bottles. We had to buy large ones and barely used them, ended up leaving at the hotel, so that’s a big waste! So overall, it was an okay stay, for a very pricey cost… they said it’s a timeshare affiliated hotel, so no daily room services. We did not know that part at booking. Not sure we’d book again next time.

We were going to a concert at rogers arena and we were just blocks away. Our room was clean and had a balcony with a view of the city. Elevator system sucks especially if an elevator is out of order. Expect for longer then average elevator waits. Would stay again.
