Old Dated Hotel, good location
Hotel was in a good location but was very dated. the room was big enough but was old and very warm. the ceiling fan didnt work so we did have the windows open all the time and there was alot of noise from outside.

Rugby weekend in Leeds
Location was great for getting around. The downtown sites, shops, markets and transport were 5 minutes or less walking. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. A very filling breakfast buffet.

Good Location, Good Value
I stopped off for a night en route to Manchester so I wanted something close to the rail station. The hotel is ideally located for that, and for dining and drinking options nearby. The hotel could do with redecoration but it's reasonably clean and comfortable, and the rate was good value.

Great hotel with a serious noise problem..!!
Great friendly reception and quick whilst booking in, the room was clean and spacey, with all the equipment you would ever need, iron. iron board and hairdryer. The towels were very thick and luxurious!! I stayed two nights, the first on the Thursday was fine, but the second evening (Friday) I found it very difficult to sleep (even though I can normally sleep through any noise), the 'boom boom' music from a nearby venue was horrendous!! When checking out I advised the man on reception and was told that was impossible, because my room was facing the inside courtyard, when I challenged him he stated that I should have called them and they could have moved to another room! really at 1:00am in the morning..!!! Funnily amongst the freebies was a set of earplugs!!! A great stay at a fabulous hotel spoilt by the unbearable noise on the second night and the stubborn attitude of the receptionist on booking out..!!!

Early wake up
I have stayed here on many occasions and can't fault the hotel or staff but on my latest stay I was woken by fire alarm going off (false alarm). What annoyed me was that when leaving at 4.15am to catch a flight there wasn't a word of apology for the disturbance. The same person was on duty when it happened but couldn't be bothered to mention it
