Hot times in the big city
Loved this hotel, its location and the attention to the small details by staff, but ... Unfortunately there is a big "but" in this case. We did not love the fact the hotel's air conditioning was out of service. That really makes it hard to give the hotel full marks, as the lack of it made for uncomfortable times in our fourth floor room, particularly sleeping the three nights we were there. Otherwise a great location, and great restaurant. Lovely appointments in the room.

Wonderful stay, only one caveat
Great hotel, lots of character, friendly & helpful staff and service, excellent decor, very good location just off Earl's Cross station. The ONLY negative about our experience was that the bed was not very comfortable. I would have preferred a firmer bed. Next time I may bring along an air mattress and sleep on the floor if necessary. Indigo staff - consider upgrading your mattresses.

Would definitely stay at Indigo Hotels again
Located very close to Earl's Court Road and tube station my initial impression was that the area was a bit scruffy, not what I expected of South Kensington. However the location was very convenient - plenty of restaurants, walking distance to V&A and other museums, yards from tube station and direct line to Heathrow. Pros: friendly informal service, funky decor, many thoughtful extras in the rooms, eg free cell phone use, everything in the minbar free, great lighting, nice shower (no bath), TV audio through to bathroom, spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Cons: we were on lower ground floor, large room with tiny window which did not open, so quite stuffy- had aircon on all the time. Fine for short trip but would not want to spend much time there. Request upper floor room if possible. Bed very hard, but nice linens and soft pillows so overall slept well.

Do not waste your money.
Front desk staff wonderful everything else mediocre. I was here with my 7 month old. We checked in great. The room is cold. We shower and the AC alarm goes off because I kept the bathroom door open I don’t like the bathroom to be hot WITH HER IN THE SHOWER. They couldn’t manage to get the alarm off consistent came up twice. & the outlets didn’t work. Moved us to another room. The heat couldn’t go above 19 they worked on it for 37 minutes couldn’t get it moved us to another room. This room was smaller than the other two but still the heat wasn’t working. We were freezing all night. I was tired of moving. The breakfast was plain. I ended up eating two eggs. I’m easy to please but not even the location is worth it. Thank god I stayed there one night. I previously stayed at hotel Mercure London bridge would give it 5 stars. This place was horrible.

Another nice stay
This is a very nice London "neighborhood" hotel very convenient to the Tube at Earl's Court. Located in a vibrant neighborhood, the hotel is staffed by friendly professionals.

Wonderful staff... just no hot water
The staff is amazing. Some of the most helpful I have encountered. The only issue was hot water. 2 times during my stay there was not any hot water to shower. My stay was in January so it was not warm enough to take a cold shower. The staff was so nice and tried their best to get it fixed but management did not offer any apologies, explanation or anything a discount, free anything at the restaurant Or something for a future stay would have left a better taste in my mouth when I left.

Great location
We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Indigo and were very happy overall. Our room was very tastefully decorated and the bed comfortable. The only downside was the hot water (or rather, lack of it). After putting up with lukewarm showers for 2 nights and no hot water on the 3rd, we were moved to another room which did have hot water. I'm sure it would have been wise on the part of the hotel reception staff to mention to customers that they were having trouble with their boilers rather than waiting until we complained. Once mentioned however, they were most apologetic and arranged to have us moved to another room. Breakfasts were lovely and the meal at Theo's (the restaurant attached to the hotel) was delicious.

Worst place to stay ever. Terrible management. The staff was horrible. I would tell anyone who asks to stay away. Just awful.
