Hotel overbooked, didn't honor reservation
I booked this hotel due to the proximity to Coke. I paid $503 for my room and upon check in was told the hotel was overbooked and that they reserved a room for me at the Doubletree 20 minutes away (with rates between $100-$200 per night). I had to wait 20 minutes for a taxi to take me there and was quite inconvenienced. They claimed Expedia was supposed to contact me directly about the computer 'glitch.' After my Coke meeting I encountered another guest (a Coke employee) who was told she had no room either. She booked through Concur so the hotel's story seems pretty suspect. I would never stay at the hotel again for this reason. When I travel to a client meeting I'm not looking to add a couple extra hours in for travel time. In addition, when I expressed frustration at having to wait so long for a taxi to take me to another, much less expensive hotel, the check in clerk told me it wasn't his fault and was pretty rude. I just find this unacceptable - and a bit abusive from a rate standpoint.

Here is an honest review
We arrived after midnight and check in and valet were accommodating. For a hotel only 7 or so years old the room we stayed in was bad shape. The room had no safe, the carpet was worn and dirty, the shower curtain was shredded and barely holding on. The furniture was badly worn and had noticeable wear. The mattress was squeaky and uncomfortable. The front desk staff were nice, the Buffett area was woefully understaffed and the one waitress couldn’t keep up. The cook was overheard complaining to the waitress about having to prepare a special order she took when I sitting in ears shot of him. For the price point we paid to stay it was extremely overpriced. Disappointed in the Hilton brand on this one.

Weekend stay
Hotel was your typical hotel. Carpet was kind of dirty. Breakfast buffet was $15, could've been free. Valet was overpriced at $33, didn't have a parking choice. But the hotel was ok. Stayed there for a city event. Not many rooms left to choose from in the city. Most of the other hotels were booked.

Stay started bad and did not improve.
Not a good stay. First the only parking was valet parking so there was an extra 40 dollar cost not known in advance. Then the parking was so backed up that it took over 30 minutes to get to where I could leave the car. I would have left but was stuck because already paid for hotel. Room was OK but not special. Restaurant was OK but felt trapped since driving anywhere required dealing with the valet parking again and nothing was visibly in walking distance. I will not return to this place and probably not use Hotels.com again.

Great all around
I needed a place to stay near Atlantic Station. I was traveling from Memphis, TN for a friend's annual Christmas party. I've stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn before and was pleased so I decided to give it a try hear in Atlanta. I was greeted at the front door and everyone had a pleasant attitude from the front desk to the bar. Even the guest were friendly. I hate I only stayed one night but I will be back. Pros: location, friendly staff, clean, affordable Cons: paying for parking but expected in the midtown location, was not able to do late check out as the bldg was at guest capacity

Nice hotel but staff could be better
Hotel is newer, clean and modern looking. We paid for breakfast at booking and that was worth it. Tasty and pretty good variety. Staff was not friendly or helpful though. There was never anyone at the front desk. Stood there waiting multiple times, to check in / check out / ask a question. Also, the staff new nothing about the area. Couldn't give information about how to take the local train (MARTA) to any tourist spots or the local college. Couldn't make a restaurant recommendation.

left the room at 9:00am, returned at 3:30pm, room had not been cleaned yet. Went to take a nap before dinner at 5:00, Asked room service(who arrived to clean room at 4:00pm) to return at 5:30, was told no. disappointed with service, unusual for Hilton.
