Cool and trendy smaller hotel
Cool and trendy hotel that was once a hat factory. Easy to walk to great shopping, restaurants, Broadway, and Times Square. Big rooms. Nice size marble bathroom. The only thing lacking was a mini fridge. I think one should be in every room without having to ask. Slippers and robes in every room. Loved the Rooftop bar. Super cool with glass ceiling to see the city and view of Empire State Building. Good food, drinks and music. There’s also free wine at check in lounge area in the evening. A nice touch.

2/10 Poor

Surprise charges
Additional surprise charges, including fees for making local calls etc. In this day and age who makes phone calls using the hotel phone? And charges for front desk being open for 24 hours, Wi-Fi, etc all never mentioned during booking a hotel. It doesn't feel luxury experience but more of a rip off experience.

Charming small hotel in great midtown location
Nice hotel on 38th just steps away from 6th and 5th avenues. Parker and Quinn restaurant great for breakfast, much nicer than usual hotel offerings. Did not visit roof bar but seemed pretty busy; Lounge off the lobby also a nice spot to sit and relax. Room was clean, shower controls a bit wonky but that was the only negative.

Still trendy, and not bad value, but on the declin
Have been there before the pandemic. It's a trendy hotel and very nice. The big issue is the beds. They have always been soft, but they've been 'upgraded' to super soft mattresses that will not work for people with any back issues. Otherwise, some issues with room, e.g. lights don't work, not quite so clean. I'll give it 4/5 stars for old times, but won't be able to return again.
