Nice hotel for a good price
Really chill inexpensive place with a kitchen about three blocks from the beach. Would be great for an extended stay due to kitchen.

Nice clean room, good AC, no hot water and uncomfortable bed. Staff was very nice and apologetic for no hot water.

Can't beat the price
It was not Hotel Eden, the owners owned many properties and put us in a really beautiful hotel. The interior was awesome. It was like living in a one bedroom apartment. Puerto Morelos is a very small town on the Rivera Maya. It shuts down very early, nothing like Playa del Carmen or Cancun. I will choose to stay there for the slow and peacefulness. The rate exchange in some of the shops are not as good. Just go to the highway and get a better exchange rate at the shopping center at the Chadurui store. I arrived at night and could not find the hotel. I had gotten a phone to work in Mexico before I left. The girl stayed on the line until I found the place. Its absolutely pitch dark at night. No street signs that could help. In town you can get a good price on a boat to snorkel. The people are very friendly. Its better to use Pesos that you got at a better rate. The beach is a little more filled with debris not as clean as other areas, it more for going out on a boat. The price of the hotel was great.

Eden is not Paradise, but OK for the money.
Hotel staff was polite; some spoke no English. WiFy is sometimes sporadic. There is a full kitchen with, frig, microwave and cooktop, but utensils are sparse, bent, and cups cracked and with chips out. I had to ask for a pot to boil water in for pasta. You must pay for 5 gallon water jugs. The beach is 4 blocks away and town, is about a mile. Eden is in a quiet, residential area. Towels are replaced periodically or upon request. Maid service daily. Close hangers are sparse.
