      Lovely guest house

What a lovely guest house! Very clean and in a lovely village surrounded by nature, we all loved see the rabbits running around out of the window. The guest house isn’t far from a great pub and a lovely tea room called Hettys. Alton Towers is less than a 15 minute drive away. The breakfast was lovely and all staff were friendly.

Fab place to visit and stay

Lovely place to stay, we booked two nights as we was visiting Alton towers but we’d love to come back and explore the beautiful village. Nina was very friendly and recommended dining at the fox and goose pub about a 5 minute walk away and we was not disappointed. Highly recommend staying here.

Nina came and greeted us when we arrived, the room was clean and cosy but spacious. The room from our view was stunning. We had dinner at the recommenced Fox and Goose pub which was a 5 minute walk away. Food was delicious. The village is beautiful and was all in all a lovely stay. Thanks for having us

Lovely but soundproofing could be better.

Location was beautiful, hostess was lovely, and bed was really comfy.. however the soundproofing is really awful, you can hear every word the guests in other the rooms are saying which was a bit unfortunate as we'd come away for a weekend without the kids just to be woken up early by other people's. The hostesses child, however, was playing quietly in the courtyard when we left and made a point of saying goodbye to us which was sweet. Maybe a bit expensive for what it was but cosy bed and bedding which was much appreciated after a long day at Alton Towers for the Scarefest.

      5 stars all round.

Family of 4 with 2 young children stayed for a trip to Alton Towers, fortunate enough to be the only guests that night and made to feel welcome. 5 stars all round.
