The suite was nice and big (amazing for Venice), however it was right on the first floor, all the windows facing street, so opening curtains was out of question and we could hear all the passers by and their suitcases dragging. Not fun. Front desk stuff were pleasant and helpful enough, but other hotel stuff simply ignored you, never meeting you eye. Also, on our first night one of the hotel guests had too much to drink and there was a big commotion in his room with running and banging and shrill screams from his room mate. Hotel did absolutely nothing to intervene, so we had to "enjoy" the show until it died down. On the plus side, the neighborhood is amazing, quiet and with some great restaurants nearby (don't ask concierge, just go exploring!). We will probably be back in the neighborhood, but I'm not sure about the hotel.

Great romantic spot
This is a great little hotel with all sorts of extra features that make it a very special place. The romantic courtyard is as good or better than its pictures and is very nice to hang out in. It is one of the few reasonably priced hotels that is situated so that water taxis can pull up right to the door. The rooms are tight but some have features such as private balconies. The hotel is on a quiet canal away from the bustle of venice. I cannot recommend it more strongly

Nice, clean, great location, firm bed
Hotel was very Venetian, fairly modern and conveniently located to a water bus stop. Several great places to eat nearby. Staff were great. Free breakfast was great. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was fairly comfortable, but very firm. Bathroom was very nice. If booking canal view, beware, if it isnt on second floor you will not really have a canal view. And it does not seem that you can be guaranteed that when booking through

Unfortunately extremely disapointed
We ordered the most expensive room and what we got is the smallest room they have in the hotel. They were perfectly fine with this deception. They could not fix it because they were sold out. Once I feel deceived no one could repair it. Its a shame.
