Convenient and nice
This is a lovely little hotel within walking distance of the beach and all the restaurants and cafes. The woman in charge is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and the aircon and showers are superb. The only downside to our stay was that the wifi never worked for the entire 3 days we were there. We were told that was because 'the internet in Biarritz is poor', with a gallic shrug. But for over £200 a night we'd hoped for a bit more than this. Breakfasts seemed a bit steep - 17 euros per person for a continental breakfast consisting of bread and cheese - so we opted to go to a cafe on the street. Nevertheless, this was a very nice place to stay an I'd recommend it, so long as you don't need the internet.

Location was perfect, however I will not be back nor would I recommend this place. This is not a comfortable place to relax, if you want to be about Biarritz all day & night then perfect, however if you would prefer to sit and relax this is not the place.

A real hidden gem!!
Our stay at Hotel Koegui was fantastic. The hotel itself was very clean and modern and the location was absolutely perfect on a quiet street just round the corner from the main shopping street and close to all the cafés and restaurants. We had a very warm welcome from Julia on arrival, all of the staff at the Koegui were so friendly and keen to help with any questions we had. We had a lovely stay in Biarritz and we’ll definitely be back to stay at Hotel Koegui next time.

Pros: convenient location in the city center. Close to restaurants and attractions. Parking garage less than 150m from the hotel. Room very clean. No noise from other rooms. Cons: Wi-Fi is a disaster. Need to register with phone number and then wait for a passcode by text. Every time you get off a device, you have to enter the long passcode again. Half the time it did not work. We ended up using our data instead. Bathroom: no door on the bathroom. Just a glass door to the toilet stall. Very weird. If one person goes to the bathroom during the night, the bathroom light brightens up the entire room and wakes everyone. No extra blanket in closet which is standard equipment in other places.

We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Biarritz. It is not on the shore, but if that is not a requirement, this is a very pleasant place to stay. Unfortunately, through this survey I am learning that the bottle of wine was complimentary. We did not drink it and left it behind. Wish we had known
